ISO 17025:2005 UKAS Accreditation
Upon opening it’s calibration laboratory in the summer of 2009, Metrology Direct’s goal was to attain UKAS accreditation as quickly as possible. This proved to be an exciting challenge and was successfully achieved in October 2010. The current scope includes dimensional, electrical and torque calibration. Other disciplines such as pressure are being sought in 2011. The full UKAS scope can be found on the UKAS website at www.ukas.com. Metrology Direct's UKAS laboratory number is 4568. ISO 9001-2008 Certification
Metrology Direct first achieved ISO 9000 certification in March 2001. Since then, the company’s Quality Management System has been developed and enhanced through the dedication and commitment of all employees. Continued improvement and the pursuit of ‘Total Customer Satisfaction’ is the corner stone of the company’s core values.
In April 2009, Metrology Direct’s accreditation was upgraded to ISO 9001-2008 and in February 2011, through the support of it’s new certification body, Certification International the company’s certification was successfully reassessed and reissued for a three year period up to February 2014. Certification International’s UK operation is based in Swindon and is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to provide certification to ISO 9001.
