Non-contact measurement applications are many and varied within the Aerospace industry and the diverse product range offered by Metrology Direct has proved very beneficial and cost effective to many manufacturers. Applications such as the measurement of rotary engine parts and airframe actuation systems represent just and small selection of the successes to date.

Plastic Parts and Packaging: These sectors encompass a vast industry and one that is truly diverse. Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices: An every expanding market sector, particularly in Ireland, where many major USA based companies have design, development and manufacturing facilities. Precision Engineering and General Manufacturing: A very large and diverse sector that includes companies ranging from 1-2 employees up to several hundred. Metrology Direct's entire range are seen within this sector, but in particular the Ultra range of hand tools and measuring instruments are proving most successful. The extensive range of Wolpert Wilson Hardness Testers and Electronica Height Gauges also generate considerable interest in this sector.
